Extra Life for Kids was created by the Gamma Tau chapter of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity during the fall of 2003 as a way to benefit local Children's Miracle Network hospitals through something different: playing video games.
Since then, three other schools have hosted marathons of various sizes and lengths and each one has been a success. While the idea of a gaming charity event is no longer brand new, hosting a gaming marathon is an unforgettable experience and we hope to continue gaming for the kids in local children's hospitals in the future!
